BD Wong lends muscle to Habitat for Humanity
BD Wong was one of the many New Yorkers giving their time to assist Habitat for Humanity International's to help the Gulf Coast rebuild. BD Wong worked a ten hour shift.
Wong was working in the Rockefeller Plaza, which for five days was renamed Humanity Plaza. New homes were built around the clock, to provide homes for families displaced by Hurricane Katrina.
BD Wong sings at Wall to Wall Sondheim
BD Wong appeared twice during the marathon 12 hour performance of Wall to Wall Sondheim. His first performance was "Someone in a Tree" from Pacific Overtures, also featuring Evan D'Angeles, Alvin Ing and Telly Leung. Later in the evening, BD Wong belted out a solo number, "Children Will Listen" from Into the Woods, with Chris Fenwick on piano.
